Hi!

Wow I haven't been on here in a long time. It feels good to be back though! I missed you all and hope everyone is peachy keen! (I think that's how you say it...) so today I read this in the Bible!

"Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as a little child, the same is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven."

Now does this mean we have to be like little kids again? Well , in a way yes. For example remember wen you were a kid and you would get mad or frustrated with someone? Then a few minutes later you were laughing with them, playing and just having fun as if nothing ever happened. That's because you humbled yourself and let the anger go. I think thats What Jesus was trying to say, we need to be humble.

Like 1stPeter 5:5 sais "... Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God rsisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble."

How am I supposed to be Humble? That's for next time y'all! Untill then stay safe and may God bless you Greatly!

L' Ecole, School, la Escuela

Hi reader!

School is almost out! One week left! For me anyway. I need to take finals and i have to study a lot. If you're in high school you probably know what I mean. All the teachers pressuring you to study and remember stuff that they taught at the beginning of school, which we forgot thanks to all the work and new material that we have to learn! Ugh... and I know that I'm not going to study because I have to go to church, and I want to graduate from the Institute so I can get my preacher's diploma, certificates and preacher's licence. I still have to graduate high school, so I will try and study anyway. I just can't wait for summer vacation though!

That's it for now. Remember God is always merciful and he won't give you a weight that you can't carry!

The Lord's Names

Hi readers! Well as you can tell by the title I'm going to tell you about the names of God. Yes God has names.... I think around 22 or 24 maybe. Most of the names were revealed to Moses. Today though I'm going to "reveal" to you only 10. (I'm gonna start with the Jehovah ones) Ok let's go!
Name-Meaning-(example verse)

Jehovah-the supreme, God, the Lord (Bible)

Jehovah Jireh- The Lord will provide (Gen. 22:14)

Jehovah Rafa-Jehovah is my healer (Exo. 15:26)

Jehovah Nissi- Jehovah is my banner - The Lord will raise/who raises my flag (Exo. 17:15)

Jehovah Mekkaddesh(Mekkaddeshoem)- Jehovah who sanctifies me (Lev. 20:8)

Jehovah Sabbaot- Lord of hosts/armies (1st Sam. 1:3)

Jehovah Shalom-The Lord is our Peace (Jdg. 6:24)

Jehovah Roi- The Lord is my Sheppard (Pslm. 23:1)

Jehovah Tsid Kenu- The Lord is my justice (Jer. 23:6)

Jehovah Shama- Jehovah is present (Ezq. 48:35)

Well, there you have them! Now you know some names of God. (The one and only God ,father of Jesus and savior of my soul) He he. thanks for reading and may Jehovah be with you! Plus Jesus plus the Holy Spirit =)

Things Overlooked

Isn't it amazing how God made everything? The things that we just take for granted, things overlooked. For example, look at your hand. All those grooves and the fingerprints. Maybe you have some marks on yours, or your fingers bend a certain way? Yet God took the time to make every single little groove and every single cell in that hand. Every bone and every finger, God took time to make each one a little different and unique. You may think " my hands are ugly." Well think of all that you can do with them; grab, pet, write, touch and so much more.
Now think of those that don't have any hands. Those people who can't run their fingers through their daughter's hair, or those who have no eyes to see the rain that they feel on their face. Those who are not able to walk, but sit for the rest of their lives.
Are we not privileged? Having legs to walk, eyes to see and hands to feel with. Yet sometimes we take most things for granted; the stars, the moon, birds, flowers, music, chocolate cake or a fresh cool breeze... we just need to take time out of our day and give thanks to God for all that he's done.

Ephesians 2:8-10

Hi Everyone!
Haven't posted in a long time... eh but what else is new? Anyways someone asked me (a very long time ago, oops) what was my opinion on Ephesians chapter two, verses eight through ten. which states:

"8. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God

9. Not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10. For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should work in them."

In my opinion-

verse 8. For by grace... through faith

I think grace is the base for which God saves the sinner and faith is the medium for which the believers receive salvation. (vea- Romans 3:24)

verse 9. Not of works

Salvation is NOT by what we can do (no matter how good we are) for if it were by good deeds it would exclude the divine grace.

verse 10. His workmanship...

The believer is a new creation (vea- 2Chorithians 5:17) created by God for his Glory.

Good Works- Salvation is not by deeds/works (vea- verse 9) but it is evident that good deeds/works are the fruit of salvation (vea- James 2:18)

The one continued(FINALLY!)

Hi every one! I haven't posted for a long time! I'm sorry please forgive me... things happen. So what I've figured out is that when it comes to love and "the one" you need three things.

1) God

2)Patience!!!

3)and of course guidance...

Why is God number one? well, first off God should be ALWAYS first! If you love God first and above all things then the rest God will take care of. Like the Bible sais "...God is love"(1 Jhn. 4:8) so before you go out and try and find the "one" you must first seek God. Trust me it works a lot better that way!

You also need patience, it is very rare that God will just give you something right out of thin air! God works in mysterious ways, and remember his will is ALWAYS best. Our human minds just can't understand the mind of God... but if he sais to wait it's for your own good. Pray for patience soon you will be focused on God and before you know it, He rewards you with a special someone!

Pray for guidance, if you're really desperate for love (as if God didn't give you enough =P) . Tell him what you need and what you think the right person for you might be. Remember though God knows whats best for you (he is the one who made you!) so He might not give you what you ask.

The One?

Hi reader! So this week i will be telling you about what the Bible sais about "the one". You know that one special person that you always pray to God for? Your Perfect love? Well How do you know when someone is "the one"? When will God put "the one" for me to come along my way? What if I think someone is "the one" for me... but he/she might not think so?
Are these the questions that you have been asking yourself? Well come back next time and I'll tell you What the Bible sais a bout "the one" and how to prepare for all those questions.... oh and if you're already married, sorry but this post is not for you! You should have already found your true love!

Lazy Bum!

No, I'm not going to blog about what the Bible says a bout lazy bums.....yet. I'm just being a lazy bum. I also just wanted to thank my two awesome followers! You guys are awesome!! Look Mr. Pilcher I have two followers! as of 2/17/09. Yay! well see you around!

President's Day!

Wow... that was weird, but cool! It was like, Friday the 13, Valentine's Day and then President's Day! Cool three in a row and on the shortest month! Well there was no school today so I decided to blog about....... nothing. After this though I will, as the french say, revenons a nos moutons! Which means I'll get back to talking about God stuff again. I can't help it I'm a Jesus Freak!! Thanks for reading! Holler if you love God/Jesus/Holy Spirit!

Valentine's Day!

Woohoo! valentine's day! I think it's a nice day to spend time with your sweetheart. It' s also a nice day to remember how much God loves us! Even though we should remember that every day! Well thank you for reading m blog, I really appreciate and am honored that you would do so. Remember Jesus loves us no matter what! Happy v-day! hhmm... i should add some music to this blog...

Salvation part two

O.k. so last time we were talking about salvation. So the big question is are you saved? The Bible says that we are all sinners and that we are parted from the presence of God (Ro. 23:3).
So where ever God is we can't be. God is in Heaven (duh) so we have to go to hell (so sad). BUT there is only one way to be saved, and that is through Jesus Christ(Jn. 3:16)! I'm sure we've all heard this story? that Jesus was the son of God and he died on the cross for our sins. So this means we are automatically saved, right? WRONG! According to the Bible to be saved, you need to do some work! Salvation ain't free! These are some major points on how to be saved...
O.k. so #1- Accept Jesus Christ as your new savior and believe that he is the son of God and that he died for you!
#2- You need to read the Bible and believe it is God's "map" to salvation meaning you need to follow its instructions!
#3- Make a relationship with God, how? pray, fast, and find a place where the word of God is preached, then tell others the "plan of salvation"!
Well that's all for now! Ill keep filling in the details of this because... yeah there's more, but i would rather do all this and receive my reward in the end rather then go to hell. wow this one is long!

Salvation

So salvation... basically in Christianity if you're not saved, you will spend an eternity in hell.
There will be no rest for your soul and you will be in extreme and constant pain. Yet there is a way that you can be saved. All you need to do is three little things, if you don't do them.... well lets just say in Bible terms... you will enter ETERNAL DAMNATION.
What are these three little things? well, you're just goin to find out next time... sorry =p

What is Pentecostal?

Pentecostal is to have a special relationship with God. Most people think that it's just another type of religion or a just another part of Christianity, but it's not. Pentecostal does fall in the Christianity area though, but it's in the protestant part of it. (protestant= non Catholic, ex.- lutherans, Babtists, Jehova's Whitnesses ect.)
So to be Pentecostal is to follow everything by the Bible, we also pray, fast, and treat God as our best friend, father, and savior. There will be more on this subject like when Pentecostals appeared and how to act Pentecostal and other stuff!
